MODULMARBLE TECHNICAL DATA SHEET
Modular marble slabs, 10 mm. thick, polished, bevelled edges, these elements are expressly engineered to obtain:
- Rational utilization due to the modular format.
- Simple setting.
- Ready to use, because pre polished. Standard sizes cm. 30,5x30,5x1 (other sizes on req.)
Weight: 28 Kg./sq mt. Packing: in polystyrene boxes 10 pieces each (=0,93 sq mt).

WARNING
- The different veining and colour background are a natural characteristic of marble; for this reason they cannot be considered rejectable defects.
We suggest that you dry set some files, from different boxes, before final fixing, in order to obtain the best matching results.
- Mortar bed must be perfectly smooth and even, in order to avoid or reduce as much as possible any difficulty during installation.
- We do not accept any claim after the final installation of the material.

MODULAR MARBLE SETTING SYSTEM
Install by using specific two-component adhesive (polyuretane adhesive for unstable marble).
Adhesive consumption: Kg. 3-4 per sq mt.

PAVERS
First Phase

Adhesive buttering with teethed spatula (lactic addition could be advisable).

Marble files installation (three rows by time).

Second Phase (one day after)

Joint grouting by appling a colored grout all over the surface by means of a rubbered spatula.

Cleaning up after one hour with sawdust and rags. After one day floor is dried off and ready.

WALL VENEER on a flat smooth surface
First Phase

Adhesive buttering by means of a teethed spatula (lactic addition advisable for exterior veneers).
Marble files installation (three rows by time).

Second Phase (one day after)

Joint grounting by applying a colored grout by mean of softener.
Cleaning up after one hour, with rags.

TECNICAL INFORMATION CONCERNING
White Carrara "C" - "C/D" - White Statuario - Calacatta - Cremo Only
We would like to inform you that the above listed marbles can be often affected by some little craters whose formation is due to the crystallization of the calcium carbonate together with the underground waters. The craters are called taroli in the local slang.
These craters are found expecially on dry light crystalline materials. Consequently, being the above listed marble qualities light and dry, more or less accentuated taroli can be easily found therein.
It does not exist any law establishing the size tolerance of these craters.
Anyhow as per stone sector usage sing and custom in force the craters cannot be accepted when having a diameter more than 5 mm.
The tarolo is not considered as a marble defect but a state of nature of some particular light crystalline marbles composed by more than 90% calcium carbonate and having an imbibition coefficient of about 0,02%.
